Promoting mental health in small, easy steps.

The Pledge is based on the idea that, though big changes in our mental health often require major lifestyle changes and treatment, we can make a small impact on our mental health everyday.

By "taking the pledge", we pledge to do one thing a day to improve our mental health. Sufficient sleep, getting into nature, going offline, and practicing mindfulness are just some of the research-shown ways we can live happier, healthier lives.

The Pledge was initially designed for Walt Whitman High School's Mental Health Week 2018,

but anyone can "Take the Pledge"!

On this site, you will find resources for some of the daily activities the app encourages you to do, as well as a way to file support claims. If you'd like to get more involved with Take the Pledge, please email:
